Look Forward to BLESSTHEFALL's New Album, Hard Feelings

On March 26th BLESSTHEFALL will release their 6th studio album, Hard Feelings.

This will be their first album since signing with Rise Records and as with all new label signings this might bring about a change of sound.

What does this mean?

Some of of us may speculate a shift to a softer more electronic sound like most of the other bands in the metal community have been doing over the last couple years, but I don't think BLESSTHEFALL will take this route.

The band has released three singles thus far and each has been heavier than the last. Elliot Gruenberg has been quoted on his instagram, "Some of you seriously thought we weren't going to have heavy songs on this record? #HardFeelings drops in a week and this song makes me want to beat all your asses in Fortnite."

This came after the release of their new single, Cutthroat.

Though this song does incorporate an electronic intro it gets straight into a heavy riff would make anyone want to start moshing.

It seems most of the preconceived notions stemmed from the first two singles they released off the record, which were Melodramatic and Wishful Thinking. Melodramatic I feel has a more mainstream where as Wishful thinking still has influences of the bands previous sound while integrating a softer vocal track.

With just a few more days before the album drops I am staying optimistic and believe BLESSTHEFALL will deliver a heavy album with the addition of a pleasant transformation .
